The event formed part of a whole day of Sport Relief themed activities at the school.
Headteacher Mark Allison said: "The children have really enjoyed it and it’s been a great success.
"They were shown a video about Sport Relief and there lessons during the day were on this theme and they are to have a final assembly about it too."
BTEC national diploma in sports studies students from Richmond School sixth form raised over £1,000 for Sport Relief with a number of events.
The ten youngsters took turns to run on a treadmill at Tesco, Catterick Garrison, over a 24 hour period from 5pm on Thursday, March 18.
Mark Burnie, Roz Twiggs, Lily Cuthbert, Anthony Donohue, Charlie Young, Liam Walker, Nathan Greenwood, Charlie Purkiss-McEndoo, Tom Thorogood and James Donaldson took part.

"They’re starting to flag a bit now as they’ve each been doing 20minute stints for the 24hour period but they’ve done an amazing job."
