COMMUNITY projects designed to help keep the local area safe could be in for a share of an annual funding pot.
Richmondshire’s Community Safety Partnership has now launched its planning process for the next financial year – and is looking to identify projects.
They must help: · tackle violence, including domestic violence · build respect and reduce antisocial behaviour · make roads safer and reduce accidents · reduce crime and the fear of crime · tackle alcohol and drug abuse · contribute to reducing re-offending across the county Partnership manager Pat Wilson said: "We know there are some great projects running across Richmondshire that could really benefit from extra funding.
"And we are always on the lookout for new ideas – especially for small projects. Our funding is limited so schemes must demonstrate clear links with our priorities."
Expressions of interest must be made by February 1. Electronic forms are available at richmondshire.gov.uk or by emailing chloe.lewis@richmondshire.gov.uk
