STUDENTS are being offered the chance to try their hand at a range of apprenticeships on offer at Redcar and Cleveland College.
An open evening is being held on Wednesday, from 5pm to 8pm, at the Corporation Road campus, to help prospective students find out about courses.
There will be taster sessions on the night, where people will have the chance to try skills including plastering, nail art, robotics and even a mock flight experience.
Gary Groom, college principal, said: "Prospective students can learn about the wide range of subjects and courses on offer and tour the campus to see how our facilities can give them a fantastic student experience and provide the best opportunities for learning."
Career advisors will be on hand to offer guidance to students who are about to take their GCSEs on what options are available to them for courses starting in September, as well as providing information on new opportunities and career progression.
Further details of the courses available can be downloaded at cleveland. ac. uk or by calling 01642-473132.
