A WOMAN suffered a serious sexual assault near a main road on the outskirts of Redcar last night.
Police are appealing for information following the incident which occurred closed to the A174 road at Lazenby shortly after 8pm.
The road is still closed this morning between the roundabout at Greystone and Grangetown.
