A SPORTING gun specialist will be visiting North Yorkshire to provide advice and free auction valuations.
Gavin Gardiner will be visiting Harrogate and the surrounding area on Wednesday, June 13 to provide advice and valuations on sporting guns and rifles, both modern and vintage, as well as shooting accessories, gun cases and related items.
He will also be visiting the Yorkshire Gunroom in Bishop Thornton.
Gavin Gardiner, who has more than 20 years’ experience of the auction world, said record prices were being paid for some unusual or good quality items.
“We are looking for all things shooting, but especially guns and items relating to the best and most famous makers such as Holland & Holland, James Purdey & Sons and Boss & Co,” he said.
Mr Gardiner will be available by appointment. His next auction of Sporting Guns will be held at the Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire, Scotland on August 27, 2018.
