POLICE searching for missing Thirsk farmer Paul Parvin are concentrating their enquiries in the York area following potential sightings of him in the city.
Mr Parvin, 52, left his home in Sessay at around 9pm on April 30 and has not been seen since.
Officers believe he may have travelled to York and are appealing to the city’s accommodation providers to contact them if they believe he may be staying with them.
Inspector Geoff Crocker of North Yorkshire Police also appealed directly to Mr Parvin to get in touch as his family is “very concerned” about his welfare.
Earlier in the week Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team orchestrated a search along the River Swale.
Mr Parvin is white, 5ft 11 with short, greying wavy hair and a short beard.
