ESTATE agents turned superheroes for a special mission to raise funds for a North-East-based children’s charity.
Five members of the Reeds Rains team walked from the Crook branch to the Durham branch yesterday dressed up as their favourite comic book characters.
The sponsored walk was one of many activities Reeds Rain staff across the country are undertaking to support Cash for Kids.
Nickie Comby, from the Crook branch, Hannah Young and Sarah Stokell from Ferryhill, Paige Hutton from Durham, and Emma Curtin from York took on the ten-mile trek.
Mrs Comby said: “Reeds Rains are official sponsors of Cash for Kids and last year as a company we raised more than £80,000. It’s such a worthwhile cause as it is for disadvantaged children. It’s also based in the North-East so the money raised will help children in our area.”
The group hopes to raise £700. To donate, visit justgiving.com/emma-curtin3
