THOUSANDS of visitors flocked to the Great Yorkshire Showground to enjoy a fun-packed farming show.
The annual Springtime Live event attracted nearly 4,000 people to the Harrogate showground to enjoy a host of attractions from live entertainment to farm animals, demonstrations and hands-on workshops.
Organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, this was the fifth Springtime Live which is held to promote food, farming and the countryside.
Youngsters were able to get stuck into traditional skills such as sausage roll making and willow weaving as well as helping birds with nest-making.
Charles Mills, show director, said: βItβs been a fantastic day with plenty of fun activities for the youngsters who have been able to get up close to farming animals as well as enjoying hands on activities and entertainment.β
