NEW images have been released after thieves stole around £100,000 worth of antiques from a jewellery shop.

Thieves cut a hole in the roof and stole hundreds of objects, including numerous highly-distinctive bespoke pieces, at 27 West Park, Harrogate.

Police believe the incident happened between 8.50pm and 9.50pm on Tuesday, February 13.

They broke into several cabinets, probably using a jemmy, and emptied them.

Stolen items include rings, bracelets, earrings, silver, gold and bespoke necklaces, antique pocket watches and high-value designer watches.

Officers appealed for information from the public last week and have continued to itemise the stolen stock as part of their investigation, which has also included forensic tests and extensive enquiries in the area.

The force has also released CCTV images of a person they want to trace.
