Police have issued CCTV footage of a burglary in progress in a bid to catch the criminal.
The footage shows a burglar searching a York home and picking items to steal.
The home, in Poppleton, was burgled on October 11 last year and a large amount of jewellery was taken.
Officers are now hoping that the circulation of the CCTV footage will help catch the crook.
Police have already carried out extensive enquiries to identify the man, including liaison with neighbouring police forces, but he remains unidentified.
Anyone who can help police identify the man is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for York Investigation Hub.
