IT'S nice to be appreciated and police in North Yorkshire were certainly grateful for this note from a seven-year-old girl.
Officers in Scarborough came back to their vehicle on Christmas Day to find a note attached to the windscreen, along with a Toblerone and some chocolate coins.
The note read: "Merry Christmas. Here are some chocolates for you from Florence, age 7."
Writing on Facebook, North Yorkshire Police posted: "How lovely is this? While some of our Scarborough officers were on duty on Christmas Day, seven-year-old Florence left some chocolates and a thank you note on the windscreen of their vehicle parked on the seafront. Thank you Florence, it made their day!"
