A MAN had to be taken to hospital after a street attack.
The 37-year-old victim suffered a head injury and a cut to his eye in the assault in the Navigation Road and Walmgate area of York.
The incident happened at around 6pm on Monday and two men, aged 37 and 34, have been arrested in connection with the incident. Both men have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
