A SPORTING gun specialist will be visiting North Yorkshire to give advice and free auction valuations.
Gavin Gardiner will be visiting Harrogate and the surrounding area as well as the Yorkshire Gunroom in Bishop Thornton near Ripley on Wednesday, October 18.
He will be providing valuations of all types of sporting guns and rifles both modern and vintage, as well as shooting accessories, gun cases and related items.
Gavin said: “We are looking for all things shooting, but especially guns and items relating to the best and most famous makers such as Holland & Holland, James Purdey & Sons and Boss & Co.”
He added: “The market remains very strong for fine and unusual items, with record prices continuing to be paid.”
Mr Gardiner will be available by appointment between 11am and 2pm. His next auction of sporting guns will be held at Sotheby’s New Bond Street, London on December 13.
