NEW searches have begun to find a man who went missing in York 18 months ago.
Rory Johnson-Hatfield disappeared following a night out in November 2015, and extensive searches were carried out in the following weeks.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Underwater Search Team were conducting new sonar searches from Skelderdale to Naburn Lock, but would not confirm how long these searches would last and said the search was “not in response to any new information”.
A waiter from Skipton, Mr Johnson-Hatfield has been missing since the early hours of November 20 when he was enjoying a night out in the city.
