CELEBRITY chef Antonio Carluccio is visiting is heading north or a signing of his latest book.
He is visiting St. Helen’s Square in York to celebrate the opening of Carluccio’s northern flagship restaurant on April 22, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
The new restaurant opened last month in what was once was the city’s Terry’s Chocolate Shop.
The Grade II-listed building includes restored original features such as the confectionary cabinets.
The chef will be signing copies of his new book, called Vegetables, and sharing anecdotes from his 60 years of culinary adventures.
A spokesman said: “Antonio will happily talk to visitors about his new recipes dedicated to glorious greens, roots and shoots, including favourites Lasagne di bietole and Torta rustica di patate.”
