A RECORD number of Asian weddings have been booked at the Pavilions of Harrogate in the first two months of 2017.
Based at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, the Pavilions has seen a boom in bookings in January and February alone, thanks mainly to new suppliers and a targeted marketing campaign to raise the profile of the venue.
Graham Thompson, venue manager at the Pavilions said: “We’ve always been a popular venue for Asian weddings as we can offer the capacity of up to 450 guests as well as the exclusivity of the private lawns.
“We’ve now taken on new specialist suppliers in Asian weddings including room decorators and caterers and word is spreading that the Pavilions is the place to hold your special day.”
The Pavilions of Harrogate has taken 20 bookings already for Asian weddings alone in the first two months of 2017.
The next Asian wedding fair will be held at Pavilions of Harrogate on Sunday, March 26. Visit www.pavilionsofharrogate.co.uk.
