A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after failing to stop for police.
Officers from North Yorkshire Road Policing Group pursued the vehicle in York before it stopped and reversed into an police car in an attempt to get away.
The driver then made off on foot across gardens before being arrested in a nearby house.
He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, document offences and driving while under the influence of drugs after testing positive for cannabis while in custody.
