A MAN had to be taken to hospital after falling through part of a bridge in York city-centre.
He became wedged in the walkway of the footbridge that runs from the Bonding Warehouse to Skeldergate, at about 10.45am today (Wednesday, July 5).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the man became wedged in the bridge after a piece of wood gave way underneath him and firefighters pulled him free.
The man had been taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm.
