A SPECTRUM of farming innovations, including an emissions-free agricultural vehicle, will come under the judges’ scrutiny at the Great Yorkshire Show.

The show, from Tuesday, July 12 to 14 at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, will also showcase innovations such as a new tractor-mounted post driver, a feed supplement that eradicates parasitic worms in grazing livestock and a milking liner for improved milk flow.

It will be the second running of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society’s White Rose What’s Next Awards for products, implements, devices or services which are judged to make a real improvement either for Yorkshire farmers or for the rural community.

Elsewhere visitors can see the live Lely Robotic Milking Demonstration - the first time the system has featured at an agricultural show.
