TWO people have been treated at hospital after a car left a road, hit a tree and plunged into a ditch on the outskirts of a town.
Firefighters said the two occupants of the VW Golf, a man and a woman, became trapped in the vehicle following the incident at 11.50am yesterday (Tuesday, February 2) at Otley Road, Harrogate.
It is understood both sustained minor injuries and were taken to Harrogate District Hospital.
The road was closed for about half an hour to allow the vehicle to be recovered.
