POLICE are appealing for information after rare antiques were stolen from a home in York.
A 400-year-old jade water bowl was taken from a house in the Micklegate area between January 10 and 12.
A medieval brass box embossed with Bible images was also stolen from the same property in the last three months, and was reported missing at the same time as the bowl.
Anyone with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option two and ask for Matthew Marshall or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
