AN investigation has been launched after a man was found dead in a public phone kiosk.
However police do not believe the death, discovered early this morning, was suspicious.
Officers were alerted at about 6.40am today (Tuesday, June 14) by a member of the public who was concerned for the welfare of a man in a phone box in Harrogate.
Police went straight to the scene, on Kings Road, and the man they found was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
A police spokeswoman said: “Inquiries are ongoing however the death is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
“Police will prepare a file for the coroner.”
