POLICE are looking for a man who caused a toddler to fall after he spun a children’s roundabout ride too fast.

A police spokesman said a two-year-old girl was on a roundabout ride at Mowbray Park, in Sunderland, when an unknown man approached the roundabout and spun the it fast.

It caused the toddler to fall and the man then went to pick the child up. The teenage older sister of the child then ran over to help her baby sister, and the man walked off.

The incident happened at about 5pm on Tuesday, May 26,

Police would like to speak to the man as he may have information that could help police with their inquiries.

He is described as black, in his 30s, taller than 5ft 10 and of stocky build.

He has black, long curly hair on top with short back and sides and was wearing a black bomber jacket.

Extra officers are in the area to provide reassurance and carry out further inquiries.
