A YOUTH theatre group has devised a production which looks at the issues surrounding missing people in a performance at the National Railway Museum.

Here One Minute is a promenade performance which takes place amongst York railway museum’s exhibits, with scenes taking place in train carriages, on railway bridges and other spaces.

York Theatre Royal’s youth theatre for 11 to 14-year-olds devised the project themselves and looked at the wide variety of reasons people go missing. The production unravels the issues behind each character’s story.

It was directed by Matt Harper, Kate Plumb and Nicolette Hobson.

Youth theatre assistant Fiona Baistow, who choreographed the opening scenes for each performance, said the young actors had worked "incredibly hard" on the production.

Here One Minute is due to take place at the National Railway Museum between 7pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday (May 20). Tickets are available from the York Theatre Royal Box Office on 01904-623568 or online at; yorktheatreroyal.co.uk.
