POLICE have released an image of a man they would like to trace in connection with an assault on a woman.
The victim suffered serious head injuries during the assault in the Acomb area of York during the early hours of Saturday, April 18.
Now police have issued an appeal to find York man Kyle Illingworth, 24, as he could have important information that could assist the investigation.
Extensive enquiries were carried out over the weekend to try and locate Mr Illingworth and police would like to hear from anyone who knows him or who has information about his whereabouts.

Anyone who has an immediate sighting of Illingworth, should not approach him but call 999.
