A WOMAN has been arrested and charged after a three-year-old girl was allegedly abducted in North Yorkshire.
The child was reported missing in Harrogate last Wednesday and the 30-year-old woman arrested on Thursday.
The girl involved is safe and well and is being cared for by her father.
The woman has been charged with attempting to take away a child in care without lawful authority, and passport offences.
She is due to appear at York Crown Court on Monday.
