MASKED raiders have left residents in shock after bursting into a home and stealing jewellery and cash.
Detectives said they were alerted at 9.20pm on Friday (February 6) after three men broke into a property on Brakenthwaite Lane, in Pannal, Harrogate.
The men, who were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered, threatened the homeowners, one of whom suffered minor injuries in the incident.
Detective Inspector Nichola Holden said: “Fortunately, the victims were not seriously injured in this incident, however they are understandably shaken by what has happened to them."
Police said the investigation was at an early stage and links with previous similar aggravated burglaries would be examined.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
