POLICE are trying to trace three men after a serious assault which left a 20p-year-old man with a broken jaw.

The men are believed to be from the Yarm area and were in Scarborough for the motorcycle races at Oliver’s Mount.

The assault occurred in Blue Lounge, on St Nicholas Street, in the early hours of September 14 and the victim, a local man, required surgery at York Hospital.

Now police have released CCTV images of the three men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Officers are appealing to anyone who recognises the men or has any information about the assault to contact them with information.
