TWO men who were arrested after a horse was shot dead and then dumped in a garden have now been released from custody.
The pair were arrested in the early hours of Thursday following the incident in Raskelf, near Easingwold on Wednesday evening.
A 36-year-old man from Raskelf has since been released on police bail to allow for further enquiries.
A 53-year-old man from York has been released without further police action.
