DETECTIVES investigating the death of a man in York have charged two more men in connection with the enquiry.
The men, aged 19 and 20, have each been charged with one count of manslaughter and are due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "The appearances relate to an incident which took place at about 1.50am on Saturday on Haxby Road, York, which resulted in the death of Sam Wilson, who was aged 21, after he was hit by a taxi.
"It is believed he had been involved in a violent incident a short time before being struck by the car."
* Linden Lee Smith, 20, of Kirkham Avenue, York, has been charged with manslaughter and appeared before magistrates this week. He was granted conditional bail.
