TWO people have been arrested following the sudden and unexplained death of a 49-year-old man.
The body was found when officers attended an address on Jubilee Terrace in York at 5.30am today, September 10.
They were alerted by paramedics who were responding to an emergency call and an investigation into the death is now underway.
A 50-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both from York, have been arrested in connection with the investigation and are currently being interviewed in custody.
Throughout the morning, forensic officers and police dog units were at the scene. Several items including a rucksack were taken from the property by police, and fingerprints were taken from the front door of the house.
