A TINY fishing village is to host an exhibition of work from some of the country’s biggest artists.
Swan Song is an exhibition curated by Eton College’s Master of the Drawing Schools, Ian Burke, to commemorate his retirement and marks a rare opportunity to see prominent artists’ work outside the major cities.
Artists exhibiting include Sarah Armstrong Jones, Norman Ackroyd and Hughie O’Donoghue among many others.
The exhibition opens at Staithes Gallery from October 21 to November 4.
Mr Burke chose artists who have influenced his own work which he also exhibits at Staithes Gallery.
