A MAN suffered serious head injuries following an assault at a pub.
A 51-year-old man was taken to James Cook Hospital following the incident at the Windmill Inn in Stainsacre Lane, Whitby, at around 8pm on Friday, September 8.
A 48-year-old man from Whitby has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been released on conditional bail.
- Police are asking for any witnesses to contact them on 101.
