TWO thugs grabbed a man by the throat and repeatedly spat in his face after their victim confronted them about littering.
The incident happened on Burr Bank, Scarborough, and the victim, a 36-year-old local man, had been on the Regal Lady cruise with his wife and two children.
As they were disembarking from the vessel, the victim confronted three men who were littering.
Two of those three men then grabbed the victim by his throat, spat in his face repeatedly and verbally abused him. The men then made off on foot.
Police have now issued CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in relation to the incident, which took place at about 5.30pm on Saturday.
