A RELATIVE of the man who created Dracula is returning to Whitby - where much of the book is based.
Dacre Stoker, great grand nephew of the author Bram Stoker, is visiting North Yorkshire this April from South Carolina to present Stoker on Stoker.
Stoker on Stoker is Dacre’s new book due to come out in August, and his visit to Whitby this year will see him present his multimedia presentation on Bram and how it was to grow up in Dublin.
He will also touch upon Bram Stoker fleeing to London to work for Sir Henry Irving, his writing of Dracula, and eventually his death.
The presentations take place at the Met Ballroom on April 22 and 23 from 1pm to 2.30pm and from 4pm to 5.30pm.
