TWO cats have died and a third is receiving treatment after being poisoned in North Yorkshire.
Owner Danny Brooksbank, of Stepney Road, Scarborough, is urging cat owners to be vigilant after two of his cats Narla and her daughter Moo returned home poorly on Friday night. The following morning he noticed his third cat Timmy was also sick.
Despite the best efforts of vets, Narla and Moo had to be put down and Timmy is still receiving treatment.
It is thought that anti-freeze may be responsible and RSPCA Inspector Claire Little urged people to clean up any spills when filling their car.
She said: βTo have three cats suffer in this way is very upsetting for this poor family.β
