LIFEBOAT crews were called out after a fishing boat sank in Whitby harbour.
The boat called Stoney Broke was hauled out by the RNLI and taken to a different part of the harbour so it could be assessed for damage.
The RNLI said no one was onboard the boat when it sank sometime on Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
A spokesman said they were waiting for low tide to examine the boat and to see what repairs would be needed.
