A WOMAN entered a horror movie-inspired attraction with her six-year-old daughter, then stole a mobile phone from a worker after demanding her money back.
Police say the woman went into Terror Tower on Foreshore Road in Scarborough at about 1.30pm on Saturday (June 11) with her daughter. She was advised the attraction might be too frightening for the child, but the woman paid and took the girl in.
She then came out and demanded a refund. When she was told there was no refund policy, the woman stole a mobile phone from a female customer services worker.
She then quickly walked out with her daughter and walked towards the Spa Complex. The member of staff ran after the woman asking for her phone back, but the woman made off.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information to help us identify the woman in the CCTV stills.
