FIRE crews are battling a blaze at industrial premises on the North Yorkshire coast near Scarborough.
Four crews were at the blaze at a breaker’s yard on the coastal road at Burniston, just north of the resort, following the alert being raised shortly before 2.20pm today, October 13.
Firefighters were using breathing apparatus to tackle the flames as well as a ground monitor, main pumps and an aerial ladder.
Crews from Scarborough, Filey and Robin Hood’s Bay were at the scene and the fire involved a large recycling shed. It is understood no-one has been hurt.
