FIREFIGHTERS are battling to remove several thousand litres of water from a caravan park this evening.
Heavy rainfall overpowered onsite pumps at Primrose Valley, in Scarborough, so a fire crew was tackle the problem.
It is hoped the levels will be reduced enough to allow the onsite equipment to take over.
Elsewhere, firefighters were called out to Hunmanby Gap, Filey, after 22 homes were flooded. Sandbags are being distributed to those affected.
