POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after a 26-year-old man was attacked by a gang of three.
The attacked happened in Whitby, at about 3am last Saturday, March 1, as the victim, a local man, walked along Church Street.
Three men attracted his attention before punching him several times in the face resulting in his nose bleeding heavily. He was not taken to hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Church Street and witnessed the assault to contact them. They would also like to hear from anyone who has any other information about the incident.
