DAREDEVIL youngsters had a ball in homemade vehicles when they took part in the annual go-kart race at Cundall Manor School near Thirsk.
Some 500 spectators watched as 34 go-karts dashed down the track, some with an added dash of pyrotechnic wizardry.
The school has held the event for over a decade and this year saw a range of innovative entries from its pupils including a modified wheelie bin and an adapted wheelchair among many more vehicles.
