Police are calling on people to stop removing the signs from Dalton Bridge, near Thirsk, and putting lives at risk.
North Yorkshire Police tweted this morning: "Signs have been put out but unknown persons (for unknown reasons) keep removing them. The bridge is damaged due to recent high waters."
