FOUR intrepid employees of furniture manufacturers Treske of Thirsk are tackling a series of tough physical challenges to raise money for charity.
Ben Ambler, Josh Duncan, John Gabler and Martyn Nelson are taking part in three gruelling events, Yorkshire Warrior, Total Warrior and Tough Mudder, over the next five months in aid of Cancer Research.
They will be joined for the ultimate Tough Mudder event by Treske kitchen and furniture designers Beth Elson and John Gabler.
Josh explained: “These events will test all of us to the limit as they are not for the faint-hearted. Yorkshire Warrior is the first up, at Ripley Castle, in April. We are all in training already, as we know we will need to be at our fittest.”
The Yorkshire Warrior event is followed by Total Warrior at Bramham Park in June and Tough Mudder at Broughton Hall, near Skipton, in July.
“Tough Mudder, in particular, will be a massive test as it is the leading obstacle course challenge in the world."
