A FAMILY festival showcasing contemporary music has announced its headline acts.
The Deer Shed Festival, at Baldersby Park just outside Thirsk, will feature three-piece alternative rock band Drenge.
The 10,000-capacity venue will also welcome Jane Weaver, Bill Ryder-Jones, The Orielles, Scott Matthews, Ren Harvieu, Lowly, Anna Burch and The Ninth Wave.
They join numerous bands announced in December including Nadine Shah, This Is The Kit, Seamus Fogarty and Mush.
Drenge will headline the Friday night of the festival, which runs from July 20 until July 22.
The Yorkshire-based band is made up of brothers Eoin and Rory Loveless, and childhood friend Rob Graham.
Eoin Loveless said: “Relative obscurity is fine but there comes a point where you need to take a break and with that we’re very pleased to announce our return to the stage.”
Festival director Oliver Jones described the band as “the most gloriously heavy headliner we’ve had in nine years of running Deer Shed”.
