BUSINESSES have joined forces to offer a festive ‘Qiuzmas Trail’ around Easingwold this week.
The family-friendly event will take place on Thursday evening and shops will stay open late for the event.
There will be treats to be had along the trail, and the local brass band will play festive carols under the town’s new Christmas lights.
Participants can pick up a map from the Cancer Research stand in the Market Place between 5pm and 7pm to join in the Christmas fun.
Follow the trail to discover the clues hidden in the Christmas decorations, then enter the main prize draw.
The event has been organised by the recently-formed Easingwold Business Forum of local traders who have joined together to promote and support the local community.
Led by Eddie Copley Farnell, owner of The Curious Table, the forum recently received support from Hambleton Council to help establish the group with members ranging from coffee shops to charities, financial services to florists.
