HIGHLY acclaimed author Salley Vickers will be visiting the region in June.
Ms Vickers’ first novel, ‘Miss Garnet’s Angel’, became an international word-of-mouth bestseller and her most recent work, ‘Cousins’ has been widely praised by critics.
The author will be visiting the White Rose Book Cafe in Thirsk on June 5 to talk about ‘Cousins’ and sign copies for readers.
Ms Vickers’ novels explore the connections between literature, psychology and religion and each one has been a bestseller.
At the Thirsk event, Ms Vickers will read extracts from her book, followed by a question and answer session, and a book signing when those attending can personally meet the author.
The session will run from 7pm to 8.30pm.
