A CRITICALLY acclaimed comedy that has enjoyed West End and Edinburgh Fringe success is heading to Thirsk.
Police Cops is a fast-moving comedy filled with affectionately mocking references to the golden decade of American police drama.
Set in 1976, the story follows straight-laced rookie Jimmy Johnson, who is out to avenge his brother’s death.
Performed by the rising young theatre company, The Pretend Men, the show has been a hit with audiences since its 2015 debut.
It is being brought to Thirsk Town Hall on March 10 through Rural Arts whose programming manager Erica Morris, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to present Police Cops in our home town.”
- Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for under 18s and are available online at www.ruralarts.org or 01845-526536.
