Reports of incidents on the region's roads this morning
A CONTAINER in the road caused delays for motorists on the Tees Flyover this morning.
The northbound carriageway between A66 and A1046 Haverton Hill Road (Portrack Interchange) was partially blocked but no major delays were reported. The container has now been cleared and the traffic has returned to normal.
A BROKEN down vehicle on the A174 westbound between the A1032 / B1365 and the A19 caused delays for motorists. Lane one of three was closed heading from Ormesby towards Thornaby. The vehicle has now been cleared.
ON the A19 at Thirsk there were unconfirmed reports of animals on the northbound carriageway between A170 Sutton Road (Thirsk) and A684 (Ellerbeck). This incident has now been resolved.
