Roses are blooming in Pickering...
LEADING rose growers will be heading for North Yorkshire next month for an annual celebration of Britain’s favourite flower.
The Ryedale Rose Festival on July 11 and 12 features some of the highest calibre rose exhibitors in the UK.
RV Roger Ltd of Pickering hosts the event, which incorporates the British Isles Rose Society’s flagship annual show and awards ceremony.
Open to everyone, the event promises to be a blaze of colour and scent - and is a rare opportunity to see displays by some of the premier amateur rose growers in the country.
